Growth in menswear is set to continue to largely derive from sports brands. Alongside the leading players, Nike and adidas, other sports brands will also perform well over the forecast period, especially those offering good value for money; casual fashion trends are favourable to sports brands, while heavy investment in sport-inspired collections helps to retain a high volume of sales.
Formal outerwear is not expected to see a return to pre-pandemic volume sales over the forecast period.
