This year we are proud to celebrate Euromonitor International’s half centenary. From humble beginnings as a London based market research publisher in 1972 we have grown into a global market intelligence business, helping our customers make bold and informed decisions in a rapidly changing world.
We are still independent and privately owned by two of Euromonitor’s founders, and earliest employees, Robert Senior and Trevor Fenwick. Our independence and continued alignment with our founders’ vision are the foundation of our strength and success.
The heritage, tradition and values that have carried us for the past fifty years still underpin all we do. However, age is nothing in business without wisdom or the ability to evolve and transform, so we are also a forward looking research and insights organisation with innovation at our core.
This mix of history, innovation and independence make Euromonitor a unique and special place. And I believe the icing on the cake must be our culture of responsibility - to our customers, to our staff and to the communities around us. This is why I am still here after “just” 29 of our 50 years.
Thanks to our customers, for your continued loyalty and trust. And thanks to our employees present and past, we are nothing without your curiosity and commitment. As we look to the future, beyond our golden 50th year, I hope that together we can shape tomorrow’s world.
