Sales of personal luxury look set to increase at a CAGR of 21% in current value terms (4% constant value CAGR) during the forecast period, to reach TRY92.4 billion.
Designer apparel and footwear (ready-to-wear) will continue to be the biggest subcategory, with sales worth TRY55 billion in 2028 and rising at a CAGR of 19% in current value terms (2% 2023 constant value terms). In terms of retail volume sales, however, super premium beauty and personal care will be the largest subcategory, with sales of two million units in 2028, representing a rise at a CAGR of 5% on 2023.
Luxury wearables electronics will be the best performing subcategory over 2023-2028, with sales increasing at a current value CAGR of 36% (17% 2023 constant value CAGR). Innovation will continue to be a key driver of demand, as the leading companies will launch model updates, and make fast-paced technological advances in order to encourage upgrades.
